Expedia Group wanted to pay contribution and celebrate all 15,000+ employees across the global company. I championed the project, from conception, design, collaboration with the data team and motion, creating an engaging multimedia video to be streamed across global events.
The centerpiece of the animation was a dynamic data visualization, organised by employee tenure. This approach not only highlighted individual milestones but also captured the collective impact and longevity of the global workforce. Designed for large-scale display, the piece created an emotional and unifying moment during the live event.

How do you fit 15,000+ names on a page?
What was initially briefed as an employee credit roll, evolved into a collaborative, creative challenge to develop a more meaningful and engaging visual tribute for Expedia Group’s 15,000+ global employees. Through a series of team brainstorms, we reimagined the brief, transforming it into a dynamic motion graphic that would honour every individual while delivering impact within a limited runtime. To achieve this, we leveraged motion design and data visualisation to represent all employees, strategically highlighting those with the longest tenure. After exploring concepts, storyboarding, and validating the feasibility of visualising over 15,000 names, I presented the final design direction to key stakeholders.
I partnered with the data team to source and organise the employee list by years of service, and worked closely with the events team to shape the messaging – ensuring it reflected the company’s mission and deep appreciation for its people. The result was a heartfelt and visually compelling tribute, celebrating Employee impact and showcased during a global company event.
