Having moved to Maroubra at the beginning of 2021, I was yet to explore the area in the wee hours of the morning. It was nearing the end of lockdown – my partner and I decided to document seven consecutive sunrises from different locations in South East Sydney. This is my love letter to La Perouse, Bronte Rock Pool, Coogee, Centennial Park, Lurline Bay & Waverley Cemetery.
